Same Day (Hours 0-24)
- You can leave your bandage on for 2-3 days.
If you notice that your bandage is leaking ink/blood, remove the bandage. If your bandage is leaking that means it could let bacteria in which is not good for your tattoo.
- Avoid sunlight, submerging your tattoo into water, injuring the tattoo area, getting your tattoo dirty, and working out.
- Proceed as usual otherwise with showering, hygiene, and daily routine.
Day 2-3
- You can leave your bandage on for 2-3 days.

- When you go to remove your bandage, we recommend taking a warm (NOT hot) shower and peeling out to stretch the bandage. It’s a similar motion to removing a command strip.
- Tattoo will be tender and sore, be very gentle when cleaning your tattoo.
- Once your bandage is removed, you should use clean hands to wash your tattoo gently with anti-bacterial, scentless soap.
- Pat your tattoo dry gently with a clean paper towel (do not reuse, use a fresh paper towel every time).
- Moisturizerize your tattoo lightly with a tattoo-safe moisturizer.
- Avoid sunlight, submerging your tattoo into water, injuring the tattoo area, getting your tattoo dirty, and working out.
- DO NOT wash or moisture excessively! You should only be washing and moisturizing 2-3 times a day (more only if your tattoo gets dirty).
Weeks 1-2
- Tattoo will be less sore but you should continue to be very gentle when handling and cleaning your tattoo.
- Continue to use clean hands to wash your tattoo gently with anti-bacterial, scentless soap.
- Pat your tattoo dry gently with a clean paper towel (do not reuse, use a fresh paper towel every time).
- Moisturizerize your tattoo lightly with a tattoo-safe moisturizer.
- Avoid sunlight, submerging your tattoo into water, injuring the tattoo area, getting your tattoo dirty, and working out.
- There may be parts of the healing process where the tattoo feels itchy. DO NOT scratch your tattoo. You can rub in a tattoo-safe moisturizer instead to help ease the itching sensation.
- Your tattoo may flake and or scab during the healing process. DO NOT pick or remove flakes or scabs. You can wash your tattoo with a tattoo-safe, scentless soap and moisturize after with a tattoo-safe moisturizer to help ease the flaking.
- DO NOT wash or moisture excessively! You should only be washing and moisturizing 2-3 times a day (more only if your tattoo gets dirty).
Weeks 3-6
- Tattoo will feel normal but you should continue to be very gentle when handling and cleaning your tattoo.
- Continue to use clean hands to wash your tattoo gently with anti-bacterial, scentless soap.
- Pat your tattoo dry gently with a clean paper towel (do not reuse, use a fresh paper towel every time).
- Moisturizerize your tattoo lightly with a tattoo-safe moisturizer.
- Avoid sunlight, submerging your tattoo into water, injuring the tattoo area, and getting your tattoo dirty.
- Itching and flaking should start to subside but continue to NOT scratch or pick at your tattoo.
- DO NOT wash or moisture excessively! You should only be washing and moisturizing 2-3 times a day (more only if your tattoo gets dirty).
